Sunny and warmer today. An increasing chance for thunderstorms the rest of the week

HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – The risk for showers and thunderstorms will increase starting today and continuing into the weekend. A scattered thunderstorm will be possible today. Increasing humidity will lend to more favorable conditions for storms Thursday and continuing into the weekend. Highs climb into the mid and in some areas, upper 80’s starting today. Lows will only drop into the 60s. Another cold front will lower temperatures and humidity for Saturday, but it will likely return as early as Sunday. Next week’s weather could be unsettled, with a chance for more showers and thunderstorms and cooler temperatures.
