Lisa started her career in radio as a DJ playing country music weeknights during the drive home in Charlottesville, VA, in 2015 at 92.7 Nash Icon. Love was in the air mixed in with that country music, which led her to get engaged and move to the windy city of Chicago with her then-fiancé.

In Chicago, Lisa could be heard mornings on Star 96.7 with the likes of Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, and her co-host, Kevin Kollins from 2017 til 2019. She could also be heard on Star’s sister station, WCCQ 98.3, playing country for the folks stuck in traffic trying to find their way home each weekday evening. But Lisa fell in love with Virginia, and had her eye on a way to make it back to the Blue Ridge mountain area.

Lisa was thrilled to get the call to return to Virginia to join a morning show team on 96.9 WSIG in 2019, and spent each weekday waking up the Valley with laughs and love with her co-host, Chappy, until 2021. As the pandemic concluded, Lisa felt the pull to her roots, and returned to spend time with family members in need, but again, she always held a place in her heart for the Shenandoah Valley.

Lisa’s excited, humbled, and grateful to be back on the WSIG airwaves after a few year’s hiatus, and to be re-joining her country music-loving friends and neighbors. You can catch her on WSIG middays from 10 am – 3 pm each weekday with enthusiasm and warmth in one of the most beautiful regions in the USA!
