HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – The cold front responsible for bringing rain and storms to part of the valley will stall to our south on Sunday. Smoke from Canadian wildfires will become more intense Sunday.

Tonight: a thunderstorm in spots this evening; otherwise, overcast and humid. Storms can bring flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts. Low 70. Winds west-southwest 4-8 mph.

Tomorrow: times of sun and clouds with a thunderstorm; humid. Wildfire smoke can reduce air quality and cause a hazy sky. High 83. Winds north-northwest 6-12 mph.

Monday: sunny to partly cloudy with a thunderstorm possible in the afternoon. High 80. Winds southwest becoming south 4-8 mph.

Tuesday: mostly cloudy and humid with a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Any thunderstorm can cause flash flooding and damaging winds. High 84. Winds southwest 7-14 mph.

Wednesday: breezy in the morning; otherwise, less humid with times of clouds and sun. High 84. Winds west-southwest 10-20 mph.

Thursday: sunny and pleasant. High 80. Winds north 3-6 mph.
