Tom Morgan hosts your ‘Ride Home’ weekdays from 2-7PM here at 96.9 WSIG! Morgan is a born and raised Virginian, but has made a few radio stops including Knoxville, Atlantic City, Philadelphia, and Charlottesville.  Tom finally settled down with roots, with WSIG already having deep roots in the Shenandoah Valley.  He married a ‘Valley Girl’ from Waynesboro in 2021, and they have three dogs that are all rescues (Jude, Harlie, and Mulder).  Working in radio is more than just the music, it’s the connection with people and making a difference in local communities.  Tom’s main goal is to answer to that call in the most memorable ways.  He has sat in a studio for 26 hours straight multiple times to raise thousands of dollars for children’s charities, waxed his legs for St. Jude, and worn Halloween costumes to work for two weeks straight.  That’s just some of the things to look forward to on the Ride Home.  When you see him in person, make sure you give a loud and proud ‘Yeah Buddy’ to show you’re a member of the SIG family!
