HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Average gas prices in Virginia have risen 6.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.46 per gallon today.
According to GasBuddy, prices in Virginia are 2.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 11.9 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 1.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.50 a gallon today. The national average is down 6.5 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 1.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
The national average price of diesel has fallen 2.9 cents in the last week and stands at $3.82 per gallon.
