JMU (12-10) finished with 11 runs on nine hits and zero errors, while Radford (7-14) was held to zero runs on just one hit and one error.

The Dukes finished with three home runs as Payton List, Kira Ortega, and Cali Legzdin all hit long balls. List and Legzdin drove in four runs each, with Legzdin hitting a grand slam to give JMU the run-rule victory in the bottom of the fifth.

Taylor Johnson picked up her third win of the season in the circle, pitching 5.0 innings while allowing just one hit and striking out a pair of batters.

How It Happened
• The Dukes jumped out to an early lead when Emily LeGrand singled and advanced to second on a left-field error, allowing Madison Edwards to score.
• List launched a two-run homer in the bottom of the second inning to push JMU’s lead to 3-0.
• In the fourth, Ortega launched a solo homer and List lifted her second long ball of the game to left to extend the Dukes’ lead to 6-0.
• An Ortega RBI single extended JMU’s lead to 7-0 in the bottom of the fifth, before Legzdin ended the game with a grand slam and give JMU the 11-0 victory.
