BRIDGEWATER, VA (Rocktown Now) — After nearly fifty years of food, a culinary staple in the Bridgewater community is under new ownership.
Bob-A-Rea’s Pizza and Subs announced on social media this weekend that the restaurant has been sold and will be under new ownership, effective June 1st.
The owners, who have been at the helm since 1975, cited advancing age and a desire to enjoy retirement as the reason for the sale.
They say that although there are plenty of unknowns, the plan is for Bob-A-Rea’s to remain “open and operational” under the new leadership team.
It has yet to be announced who the new owners are.
