Shenandoah County Middle School Teacher Suspended After Arrest

WOODSTOCK, Va – Shenandoah County Public Schools Superintendent Melody Sheppard has issued a statement regarding a teacher at North Fork Middle School who has been indicted on multiple charges.

Sheppard stated on the division’s Facebook page that Tracy Ann Phillips has been suspended from her position at the school located on the southern campus.

The 57-year-old Bayse woman was indicted by circuit court grand jury on May 10th on 43 charges, including 22 felony counts of obtaining money by false pretense.

Phillips was arrested Wednesday and will have a hearing on May 24th at 9 am.
