HARRISONBURG, Va. – Harrisonburg is the worst in the state at social distancing according to a “Social Distancing Scoreboard” put out by Unacast.
The company used mobile phone location data to determine compliance with social distancing recommendations.
Harrisonburg received an “F” grade and was listed at the very bottom of the list of Virginia localities.
Now, the data didn’t measure how far people are staying from one another, but rather how well they were doing at staying home.
Overall, Virginia received a “B” grade with a 38% change downward in the average distance traveled. Meanwhile, Harrisonburg saw a 27% increase in distance traveled.
