HARRISONBURG VA:  (WSVA) – Harrisonburg Police are reportedly investigating an attempted drive-by shooting near downtown on Friday night.
City resident Cat Goode said on social media that she and her husband, Isaac, were turning from East Market Street onto Old Furnace Road just before 11 o’clock on December 1st when a Jeep Grand Cherokee sped up from behind, crossed into oncoming traffic and fired a shot into their vehicle.
Surveillance video from a nearby business captured the moment. Goode posted photos showing that the bullet entered the rear door on the driver side, exiting through the rear passenger door. Neither she nor her husband were injured during the incident.
Goode added that officers have been in contact with her about an investigation. WSVA has reached out to Harrisonburg Police for further comment.
