GLADSTONE VA: (WSVA) – Nelson County authorities are investigating this morning after a body was found inside a burned vehicle over the weekend.
Sheriff Mark Embrey said in a release that deputies observed a smoldering automobile off of Norwood Road in the Gladstone area around 9 o’clock Sunday morning.
According to Embrey, the responding deputies found the remains of an unknown individual inside the wreckage. He added that those remains have been sent to the Chief Medical Examiner in Richmond for identification.
In the meantime, anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office as soon as possible.
