From 4/25/16 until approximately 5/27/16, WSIG will conduct its “Cash Cow” contest, in conjunction with Golden Rule Homes of Mount Crawford.  Weekdays between 6am and 7pm, at multiple random times, WSIG will air its “Cash Cow” sound effect.  When you hear it, that’s your cue to call!  Be Caller #9 at 1-540-432-1128 and guess how much cash is in the Cash Cow. You must guess the exact amount, including dollars and cents. We will tell you if you are too high, too low, or exactly right.  If your guess matches exactly the secret amount of money in the Cash Cow and you are qualified, you instantly win that money!   Upon determination of each winner, we will collect the name, address, phone number, date of birth, and social security number from said winner.  A check will be prepared for the winning amount, at which time the winner will be contacted and given instructions to obtain their prize within 30 days at the WSIG Studios, 1820 Heritage Center Way, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.  You may play this contest an unlimited amount of times, however, you are only permitted to win the cash once during the run of this contest.  WSIG is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technical difficulties, including but not limited to a third party, that may prevent you from completing your telephone call.  No purchase is necessary to win.  Prize is not transferrable. Entrants and winners will be chosen in the sole discretion of WSIG. Prize will be provided in the form of a check, and will depend on amount in the Cash Cow.

Employees of WSIG-FM, Harrisonburg Radio Group, Tidewater Communications LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a 100-mile radius of the WSIG main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse.  This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

This WSIG contest is open to all eligible Central Virginia residents 18 or older who have not won anything from WSIG-FM or any other Harrisonburg Radio Group station in the past 30 days, or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past six months.  Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner.  Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Complete rules are available at the WSIG studios, or online at 969wsig.com.
